If you know me, you know that I'm awful at speaking about myself. That's why this page exists. I feel the more you know about me, the more comfortable you will feel with me taking care of the canine members of your family.

My name is Sam and I've been working with dogs since 2001. I worked at several different dog care and boarding facilities throughout high school and college, until I started my own business in 2008.

I've been volunteering for local dog rescues since I was in high school, being "foster mom" to over 50 homeless dogs over the years. Check out www.petfinder.com to see the variety of dogs/puppies that need homes. I currently foster for After The Track Greyhound Rescue.

I attended two semesters of the Veterinary Technician program in college before switching to a business program. While I learned a great deal about canine anatomy, medicine, nutrition and behaviour, I knew I preferred working outdoors with the dogs, rather than in a clinic environment. I believe in lifelong learning, especially when it comes to dog behaviour. I have my Karen Pryor Trainer Foundations Certification, and I am a current student of The Academy for Dog Trainers.

If you've met me, you know dogs are a huge part of my life. From my extensive canine book collection, to the artwork in my house, almost everything has a canine feature. I take pride in what I do and strive to offer one of the most transparent, safe and fun dog walking services in the city.
